There are days when you just want cooking to be simple, quick and well of course flavorsome. When you could just dump everything in a pot on stove or in an oven and just chill till dinner is raedy. Well, today was that kinda lazy day for me. Got my inspiration from this blog, which gave me a smile along with a satisfying dinner.

So, I took my boneless chicken, threw in some spices, mixed them together, sliced some onions and threw ’em into the oven for 20 – 25 minutes till water dried and the chicken was cooked to perfection. I was surprised to get the smoky, bbq-ey flavor ¬†from the chicken. Try it yourelf and lemme know.

What you need>>>
Chicken boneless———- 250 g
Red chillies powder——- 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder——— 1/2 tsp
Salt————————- to taste
Lemon juice————— 2 tbsp
Chart masala————- 1/2 tsp
Garam masala————- 1/4 tsp
Ketchup——————– 2 tbsp
Spring onions————- 1 tbsp (optional)
Tomatoes—————— 2 sliced
Garlic———————– 2 cloves, finely chopped
How it’s made>>>

  2. Slice tomatoes and set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl add salt, red chillies powder, lemon juice, chart masala, garam masala, turmeric powder and ketchup to chicken and mix everything nicely together. Set aside for all the flavors to meld.
  4. Now grease your baking tray lightly with oil, pour the chicken mix on it and place tomatoes on sides, up and just about everywhere you want or can, don’t overdo it please.
  5. Sprinkle chopped garlic and spring onions on top and let the oven do it’s magic.

Sprinkle some spring onions and fresh green coriander on top and serve.
