The first time I made Chocolate Chip cookies was on Nov.5th, 2006 (still remember the dates
) and boy they were delicious, just what I was hoping for. I made it for my hubby’s birthday and boy they were a bit hit.
So, after some time I wanted to bake ‘em again but unfortunately (or fortunately
) I couldn’t find my recipe, looked everywhere but nope, couldn’t find it. Now a couple of days back my sis asked me to bake her these delicious cookies.
So, now I had to look for the PERFECT recipe. I like my cookie to be soft and crumbly, crisp around the edges and a soft center. Thank God I found this site She wears many hats and gave these cookies a shot, although I searched and investigated atleast 10 12 sites, picked this one, which I liked the most. And the cookies didn’t disappoint me at all. They were just the thing I had been looking for, enough talking, bake ‘em and see for yourself, what exactly I mean.

Thanks for the shout out! Yep, these are some good cookies for sure. Enjoy! I’m thinking about pulling the second half of dough I froze last week out of the freezer – there goes a pound or two!

Leemz,
I made these yesterday… AMAZINGG!
Like, as the name says, JUST perfect!
I’m falling in love with your recipes
So, thank you for this blog!
I have a question, though, like always:
I used Hershey’s chocolate chips
and found them to be quite outrageously expensive
so is there any other brand that you would recommend
for the chocolate chips?
Which ones did you use?
And also, I just wanted to request that plz ure next
recipe shud be a baking one or a dessert or something
OR chicken makhni! haha!
Thanks once again
That is superb. hope you didn’t forget to take a shot this time :S
About the chocolate chips, hershey’s are the best, of course they come with a price but you can buy non-labled one’s which also lack in taste at Al-fatah. And then there’s another branded one’s by the name ummm Baker’s something, that come in green and red boxes, for dark and white chocolate chips, can’t remember their full name but they taste nothing as compare to hershey’s
Oh, then I guess Hershey’s kinda the only option if you want decent cookies!
)
And unfortunately, didn’t get time to take a shot this time either :/
Haha what can I say, we’re greedy gluttons!
But, not to worry, I’m making them again today (kinda obsessed
and will definitely take a pic!
oh please do! can’t wait to see ‘em
keep up the good work!
