This is a Get well soon cake that I made for a dear friend who was very sick. She’s absolutely fine now, in case you were wondering.
This is a rainbow cake. Made by throwing a handful of colors into your favorite “butter cake” and then let the oven do its magic. Seriously, how can you explain a mixture of eggs, butter, sugar and flour converted into something like this. It’s MAGIC i tell you.
You can use this SPONGE CAKE recipe or your personal favorite. Just play around with colors, throw them all in your baking pan which should not to filled to the top, always fill it 3/4 or 1/2, not more than that.
The icing is whipped cream icing with icing sugar. Hey it does look like a flower from here hehehe
